GMTK GameJam Devlog part 4 (50 hours in, Gamejam ends)


ITS DONE! 

50 hours. Coding, modeling and putting things together and now its submitted.

Rough weekend, but I think this is most complete entry to gamejam I've done and first one using 3d models that I made myself. They aren't that hard, being static chess pieces, but still. I'm also happy that I could code almost all myself, even enemy pathfinding. Its not elegant, but it works for this situation. And ending scene (well, static 3d model for it) was propably funniest thing to model.

All in all, I'm very happy how this turned out. Maybe I'll add browser version, some audio and clean some minor bugs but all in all I think I got most of what I wanted to do, done. Now to play other entries!

Situation at 50 hours (Build 1.1):

-FINISHED THE GAME
-Modeled enemies with blender
-Made movement for both chasers and fixed movement betveen target points
-Made tutorials and levels
-Added start and end screens
-Added health and reload if health goes to zero
-Submitted to game jam
